It is the involvement of members that enables Coin Branch to pride itself on a range of activities to suit all of our members.  Members are always invited to suggest or even run a social activity, interest group, trip or game.  Any Social and Fund-Raising Committee member can be contacted for further information or to deliver ideas to the Committee.

The Branch program consists of a formal Branch meeting on the first Wednesday of each month when reports from the various Committees and office bearers are delivered.  The second meeting of the month – on the 3rd Wednesday of the month – is a different social activity each time.  At all of our meetings we have a quiz.

Every month we have a day trip to somewhere interesting or to Gibraltar to shop.  Members and their friends are welcome on all our trips.  Once a year we have a weekend away further afield – previous trips have included Toledo and Seville.  In addition we frequently organise extra social events and these include barbecues, Last Night at the Proms, picnics, tapas parties and seasonal events..

Apart from the social aspect of these activities, we use them to raise money and we endeavour to price all activities at the minimum to cover costs and to allow us to run the Branch and raise money for the Poppy Appeal.

All our events are advertised in our monthly Newsletter and on this website:
As well as these regular meetings, trips and socials, we have a range of special interest groups who gather between meetings to pursue their favourite pastimes.
All of these groups are open to member and to non-members.
Information is generally available in our monthly Newsletter and on the “What’s On” page on this website.
